I can't help you with a full ID (yet), but the first one is not a grasshopper but a katydid / bush cricket (family Tettigoniidae). They can be recognized by their very long thin antennae. The second one might be some lubber grasshopper (family Romaleidae), but I'm not certain (I'm still a beginner with the order of Orthoptera, and I've not seen this one before).
