Avicularia avicularia/metallica - Theraphosidae (French Guiana)

Hi,

so many photo and don't know what to post ... so I don't be a spammer :) .
This is a tarantula ... possible to say what species?
This specimen had the burrow in one of the palms planted around bungalow from Gite Moutouchi (29.january.2016).

I believe it is a Avicularia sp., likely Avicularia metallica.

I agree with Oliver.

Either Avicularia metallica or Avicularia avicularia. Both species are very likely.

In situ also we thinked at Avicularia but that was all.
Will share photos also on facebook maybe someone can tell something more exactly.

I doubt if anyone can give you a more precise answer. Even the experts get a headache of these two species. The A. avicularia is supposed to be the species closer to the coast, with the A. metallica being at home in the interior. But where do they meet? And people sometimes collect them only to release them later. If they collect them in the forest and release them closer to the coast (e.g. in Saint Laurent-du-Maroni), they might even hybridize away from the places where they normally meet. :-\
