Weird fly at Raleighvallen | Tephritidae sp.
« on: Fri, 12 October 2018, 10:20:34 AM »
Hi guys,

Are there any fly specialists that care to try this one?

Was found on a tree trunk at Raleighvallen on 14-03-2017.

Bigger than a housefly (maybe twice as big).

A parasitoid fly of the family Tephritidae. I cannot (yet) help you any further though.

Cheers, Auke :-)
