Erythrolamprus breviceps? On Nassau mountain | Colubridae
« on: Wed, 15 November 2017, 05:14:15 PM »
Hello,

December 2016 I found this snake under a few leaves on Nassau mountain, Eastern Suriname. It was positioned about 50 meters from a creek and looks like a water snake. Could this be a small Erythrolamprus breviceps?

Thank you,
Dick

Could well be, but picture is not good enough to count number of upper labials. Marinus Hoogmoed
